I live on the outskirts of Staunton, Virginia, centrally located in the middle of the Shenandoah Valley.   Less than two hours in any direction reaches Charlottesville, Lynchburg, Richmond, Roanoke or Washington DC.  I absolutely love where I live tucked away on 14 acres in the county.  I married my best friend almost twenty-five years ago.  Am raising three kids, a boxer, seven farm cats and chickens – although I despise eggs.  Learned long ago that superwoman does not exist and whoever invented her should be hung with her cape.  As my children have gotten older and life has gotten busier, I’ve learned to adapt and compromise.  And that even means with housework and lists.  Long gone is the alphabetized pantry…and I’ve never been happier.
